I see the Okami Arrange one, but not sure if I'll like it. I like Okami's music b/c of the use of the Japnaese instruments. I really enjoy traditional Japanese music...but unfortunately I don't really know where to begin (throwing "shamisen" into google is less than helpful). Do you have any names,...

Wow... I'm up at 5AM... baby screams. You know, I just played Zana Neo today after not playing for ages (1cc!... I know, it's easy) but that is partially what inspired this thread. The stage 3 track is great. It seems to me what was aimed for in ESPGaluda. I don't think ESPGaluda's soundtrack is ba...

I'm with you on ESPGaluda being no so good. Trance is not that hard to make. I mean, trance doesn't bother me - it can be enjoyable, but it is definitely forgettable. Psyvariar 1/2 - Much better techno-y/trance-y soundtrack than ESPGaluda IMO. R-Type Final - The music is really nice and atmospheric,...

Okay, now I feel dense. Either I'm not seeing what you're talking about or I'm not getting the association? The page isn't displaying Japanese characters for me, so I can only really bludgeon my way through the menus (not that it would do me much good if it was displaying correctly)...but I haven't ...

For the current gen I give high recommendations for two Japan only Xbox360 games: THE iDOLM@STER Edit: Actually Senko No Ronde Rev X is no longer a Japanese only game. Ubitsoft has licensed it. Judging by the cover I fear for the localization though: Seriously. I would LOVE to know what went throug...

FS: Mushihimesama "Taito Best" Brand New Sealed

Would anyone be interested in this for say...$20? I had bought an extra copy for a friend, but it turns out he already has it. I imagine returning it to Play-Asia would be more trouble than its worth.

Cellphones effecting pace makers seems likes an exercise in paranoia. I found an article on the subject, which claims to be the "real" reason as to why cellphones aren't allowed on planes. http://www.computerworld.com/action/article.do?command=viewArticleBasic&articleId=9015839

Did Ibara "Taito Best" get Canceled?

Admittedly I hadn't looked at its availability for the last several months, but Play Asia had a page and listed its release date as 01/18/07...but all mention of it seems to have disappeared. A google searched turned up several instances of people saying that it had been canceled, but I haven't foun...

I've never really understood the cellphone ban (and wireless devices) in airplanes. I was once told that cellphones were not allowed to be used in planes because since you were so high up and moving so quickly the cell carrier would have a hard time charging you appropriately, or something to that e...

Holy shit is that the PS1? Is Sega that hurting for cash? I mean, lets take the game as in, remove the title - shitty low budget game to cash in on the post-launch game drought. PEOPLE LIKE SHOOTING ALIENS IN THE FACE! So we can infer then that desperate people, impulse buyers and Moms Sent to Buy G...

Well...huh. I was in there the other week. They had Jump Superstars and some shit Naruto game (albeit for $49.99 though). I guess it makes financial sense due to the proclivities of some of our youth: http://digg.com/tech_news/Nearly_1_out_of_every_2_animation_videos_YouTube_today_is_Ep_207_of_Narut...

Harder than Ninja Gaiden? I've held off on picking up Shinobi because Ninja Gaiden (specifically Ninja Gaiden Black, that might make a difference) was so perfect in terms of controls, camera and difficulty. I hear the camera is bunk in Shinobi.

Guy bought up 100 PS3s

I still think it's evil, even if the buyers are equally guilty in enabling the sellers. Not quite as evil as cybersquatters, but up there.

$175 Mario Shirt. Because Consumerism says so.

Personally, I'm not too upset with the manufacturer. More whoever buys this.

I can see Paris Hilton sporting this with her free Nintendo schwag.

I wouldn't take such issue with the anime influence if the art/style/animation was of a higher quality. Dawn of Sorrow, and it would seem this one both suffer from painfully generic and nondescript anime. You can tell it was actually 3D rendered with a cell-shading renderer, and as such the case, ma...

State of the Game: How Does Your Retro Buying Future Look?

There was a time where there no question about hoarding every Saturn and PC Engine game I could get my grubby little hands on. I often found my cursor hovering over that Neo Geo auction, knowing full well that emulation was in many cases superior to the real thing. But these days, retro-compilations...
