What's kinda freaky about the inclusion of Ketsui in MAME is that now people are 1-ALL:in it to left and right because of those pesky save states. :finger: Literally a day or two after the driver was fixed. :whack: Nimitz is currently backporting all the 'fixed' drivers to mame .99, I've never felt...

Ketsui and DOJ on my PC with a Saturn pad. The sound isn't quite right but everything else is smooth as butter. This, after months of Dragon Quest IX and Etrian Odyssey II/III. Really happy with how well they're working on my shitty XP machine, nice to know that games people actually want to play a...

Big Tournament Golf sounds like a whole lot of fun to me, I haven't played much of it, so it would be nice to learn a bit more about the game's mechanics.

Like Josh said, the game has a nice control system, and the difficulty comes from the course design, wind changes and putting.

I can get to stage 4 on the Fixeight bootleg now, it's not that hard, you have to sprint through the first stage pretty much, the next 2 stages are a bit more lenient with time. Knowing when to bomb is the key, I made it to stage 4 without bombing once, could of easily gone farther if I hadn't been ...

I tried out My Japanese Coach myself when it first game out, it is pretty crap. I don't like the presentation or structure to lessons, it's kind of just laid out there in such a basic unhelpful way, then after that it's just some crappy minigames. So what are the must-have Japanese learning tools fo...

Metal Slug 7 1,108,250 - LaserGun - 3 - Fio I guess you can do MS7 like that, LGB. Same for MS6, although I doubt anyone here is going to be playing that game lol I'll probably have a better score at the end of the week, and I'll try to make it to stage 6 at least, it's just hard to get some consis...

Looks like Metal Slug is getting some love again, I'll have to pick up MS3 again and put more effort into my MS7 bathroom breaks.

Wish I could remember my MS3 ALL score -- since that's not happening again for a while.

Some subsidiary of EA, you would hate the game because you have to use the stylus to solve puzzles on the touchscreen every 30 seconds.

I have this tiny crappy white shelf. At the bottom is my MD stuff, then the middle shelf holds Saturn, PS1 and Xbox stuff. The top is dominated with PS2 games and then on top of the shelf is another 30 PS2/Xbox games and some DS games. Also everything else is piled up somewhere or just on the floor,...

The F&F movies are the most guiltiest pleasure a man can experience, except the second flick, that one really is terrible beyond all comprehension.

Gaijin Punch wrote: I've been told Sin & Punishment really requires that retarded controller.

What type of controller are you using? I found the game easy enough to play with a Dualshock 2.

Also give Hybrid Heaven ago, if not just to be thoroughly weirded out by the opening cutscene.

Watching that video felt kind of strange, like I was taken back to 1998, sat down watching a preview of a new PS1 shmup on TV.

After 3 the series really did go down the shitter. I've only played a bit of 6 but I enjoyed what little I've seen of it. 7 really is fucking awful though, I don't get the praise associated with the game, like Macaw said; the level design is shit at best. Unimaginative levels filled with downward sl...

I hate the touch pen/pad. You and me both, I remember having to kill a boss 4 times in the same boss fight cause I kept crapping up the 'Magical seal'. I also hated the randomness of the spirits in the first DS game. It's a good thing that system was put to rest, even though a kind of bastardized v...

I feel pretty stupid only finding out about this about a week ago. I was actually playing the SFC version last night and gave up on Field 45 due to the bullshit required to get to the levels exit.

There will definitely be a port, but I wouldn't expect it to come out until Q4 this year or later, word is Aksys are going to hold out for a while before porting the game.

I still haven't finished the first game due to the shitty fighting system and lengthy loading times, I'm about a 1/3 way through it. The retarded localized name 'Yakuza' made me think it was a GTA style title, but I was surprised to see it wasn't. I'm pretty disappointed with RGG since a lot of peop...
