Re: NHK TV fees

I actually assume they do it like they do here. You pay a regular bill electronically, and these people go knocking at doors making sure people who don't pay really don't own any televions.

Re: Errors on game entry pages

What's the symptom?

I see the navi bar. Everything below that is white. When I click a link other than the forum link an empty drop down menu pops up in the page area.

Tested on firefox 52, 53 and webkit2 surf compiled last week with the latest libs at the time.

Re: Errors on game entry pages

The main site is completely broken for me.

If you're working on it anyway it's probably just how it is now and you're aware of it. Reporting just in case.

Re: Nintendo Switch

my left joycon is completely dead, and the "send item in for repair" form has no options for switch related goods.

Re: Nintendo Switch

It's a couple defective devices in a million or so.

I'd wait for them to sort out the desync issue with the left joycon and to replace the dock with a better one. All the critical stuff falls under warranty anyways and shouldn't occur unless you're unlucky.

Re: Nintendo Switch

The positive talk about the console's region compatibility made me buy one. Had to order Zelda in japan to get japanese voices, it's taking a few days to arrive so I can't comment on the game yet. The UI is in fact so bare-bones it's weird. Nintendo either think they predicted the future of UI desig...

Re: Nintendo Switch

I'm going to wait and see how this supposedly region-free console handles the eshop and DLC.

Apparently you can play all games in japanese by switching the console's language setting, which is great, but has me worried that they might patch it out anytime.

Re: The SRPG thread

As much as I'm into JRPGs, I've never really gotten into SRPGs somehow. Played the Fire Emblems on GBA, liked them a lot but at the same time thought they were kinda tedious. Some maps I really had to force myself through, and when I tried to get back into the franchise with Shadow Dragon I just los...

Re: Slightly Off Topic: Descent Underground

I played bits of Descent on Playstation when I was about 11 years old and really liked the series. Guess I'm going to check out Underground once it's out. Thinking back it's almost weird. I loved fast paced FPS games back then, but never found my way back into the genre. Maybe it's because I missed ...

Re: [SS] Sega Saturn Power Memory Problems

Are you sure your cart's pins and the slot itself aren't dusty/dirty? Also make sure to always insert the cart properly. I've had issues with memory corruption on my SS memory cart as well. Seems to me like the thing is pretty susceptible to those issues. Just think of how loose the cart sits in the...
