Using G.I.M.I.C

Has anybody here used G.I.M.I.C? http://gimic.jp/index.php Looks like a very good device to play game music using the original hardware, i am not looking for an emu vs original hardware discussion though, i just happen to like this kind of devices :) Hoot has support for it: http://dmpsoft.s17.xrea....

Re: [AC] The Lost Castle in Darkmist (Taito, 1986)

Ninja Warriors does play in stereo. My harness has both the output for the speakers and the earphone output as well. For MS32, you need to set the jumper to stereo, you can definitely hear channel separation. Yes it has sound output for two speakers but no stereo effect, I find no jumper on MS32 fo...

Re: [AC] The Lost Castle in Darkmist (Taito, 1986)

Nice Ninja Warriors adapter.. i really need to test my NW PCB i bought as "untested" for about 4 years ago. Does Ninja Warrios have stereo sound? In MAME so is the music and sound effects playing in mono only, but i presume just that the PCB has left and right speakers so does it not mean ...

BTW here are some recordings from DaiMakaiMura using some Yamaha MIDI modules that support GM... Yamaha TG100, MU90 and MU1000.
I used an X68k emulator to send midi data.

Re: Games w/ MIDI

Well, it would be nice if you added detailed info on all games that has MIDI support, that page would be great for reference then :)

I am mostly interested in Atomic Robo-kid as the arcade music is awesome... it probably supports MT-32 only as it is such an old game.
