Other than Batsugun, I've found most of the Toaplan games to be a bit too hard. Dogyuun & Tatsujin-Ou are a given. Can someone w/ more experience than me comment on some of the others? Zero Wing is probably easy to average difficulty. Tiger Heli was average difficulty. I think it just looped en...

Well I ended up buying a new computer. On the bright side I can now make use of the Saturn emulators and see what the DS has to offer. There's a lot of games I'm sure I've one CCed in the past that I don't remember anymore. I really haven't done anything game related other than playing through the P...

The SO 1 remake was redone in 3D. They added special moves for Leon. Don't remember much more than that.

The Saturn also had Dungeon Master, and Dragon master if I remember right. Don't remember either of the full titles for those 2. The 32 bit Shin Megami Tensei games had Soul Hackers, Devil Summoners, and Persona. Don't remember anymore if Innocent Sin played more like the first Persona, or the third...

Sorry to bring up an ancient comment, but I just completed the first Startling Odyssey myself, and I didn't encounter any programming problems. If that comment is in reference to being unable to return to the airship if you left it in an unreachable spot, you can actually use the "Warp" s...

As a side note, me and another poster worked on a translation of Star Breaker. Got about 30-35% through it before canning it. Had issues running it in any of the emulators, so didn't see the point. I am very interested in your translation. Could you please send me your 30‾35% script translation ? I...

I don't know of any translations for it. Someone did mention he had interest in maybe working on it someday but who knows if anything will really come of it.

I played the PC Engine one a few years back but never finished it too. From what I remember once you get the first ship you have to go to the land that is to the North East. It's the only new place you can go to right now other than that small island with the town in the middle of the world. The tow...

Re: Star Breaker

> Azazel : Could you please describe more precisely Star Breaker ? I am very interested in this RPG. I know there is already a brief description of this game on gamengai, but I would like to know more about the story, the characters, the battle mode, the musics... I could not find a review on Inter...

It's an option you can check on at least one of the Mega CD emulators. It lets some games work that normally won't like Popful Mail as an example.

Yeah, Grandia too (sprite and texture quality as well as sprite shadows compared to real transparencies, better movie quality, and somewhat shorter menu load times). And all 4 Langrissers (clearer visuals, better quality sound compared to better quality movies). Grandia: Was always told (other than...

According to the devoloper's website as well as that one really well known JP PC Engine site some of the scenarios were changed or altered. Both sites were very vague about it.

If I remember right some games freeze in the emulators if your not using perfect synch. If there not booting it might be because the game isn't supported or you screwed up the backup. As for backups or making images/mounting them I think Nero, Disk Juggler, or Clone CD should work. Or at least was w...

Can't really help much as I never played much of any version of the game. Never really tried the X68000 version. I think I have a rom of it on a cd somewhere at my place. You could probably find it online somewhere if you want screenshots of it that bad.

Nice list. The one I'm thinking of states if theyr'e Marty compatible (I think) and how well they run in UNZ. The list I had did have a UNZ compatible list but not a Marty combatiablity list. It was a real pain to go through if you wanted to search for a given game as it was organized by developers...
