PSone remakes

So, I've finally decided to get a PSone. It seems there are a few old games rereleased on the system: Cotton original (PCE) Marchen Cotton 100% (SFami) Akumajou Dracula[Castlevania Chronicles] (X68000) These are what I've found so far. So, other than the obvious Namco Museum/Capcom Geneations compil...

Nintendo's IQue

So shifting slightly from Japan gaming to Chinese gaming.... Has anyone actually got an IQue? Seems very little info available, other than Lik-Sang taking one apart. But the system plays N64, SFami and Fami games, yes? But the only way I can get the games is to download them from an IQue Kiosk, whic...

Console to console link cables are a funny thing. Makes you wonder why companies bother with them. Saturn: The whopping 3 games Ganelon mentioned... Dreamcast: Virtual-ON, F355, Daytona USA, Sega Tetris, Aero Dancing i/F PSone: Um, Command and Conquer (which is cool, but by the time you've each buil...

Trying to find much in-depth info and complete BS games lists is an absolute nightmare. There's incomplete listings all over, and just basic info on what the BS-X was..... I've found this list, which seems to be more complete than others - http://www.classicgaming.com/nindb/bsx.shtml But it is missi...

The missing Zeldas

I decided to go on a Google mission to find out what games were actually released for the BS Satellaview system, and came upon a Zelda mystery. Now I knew that 'BS Zelda no Densetsu' was released, a downloadable version of the Famicom original with updated graphics. But it seems there were another 3...

Um, yeah. I've often wondered about the Denhsa de Go series. It seems to have been released on every console ever, with the train controller peripheral. Crazy. Can't work out what it is about trains that the Japanese are so fascinated by. But maybe they should release the games over here, with a Tho...

Cool, but why don't they include old SNES/N64 versions of games as unlockables? Having the original SNES Starfox , N64 Starfox or even letting SNES Starfox2 see the (official) light-of-day as unlockables would have kicked ass. Still gonna get the game as I really enjoy the SF series.

If this is licenced by Nintendo, then I'm a Dalek. But, to quote from the box - 'Good Quality same as CD game level'. Damn, my brain must be getting foggy in my old age, but I can't remember the Famicom/NES being that powerful!

I'm assuming your TV has no RGB Scart, so either composite or SVHS should work ok.

Dracula X - Capture Book

Hello everyone. Just wondering if anyone knows anything about this 'Capture Book' for the PCEngine version of Dracula X? Is the book itself rare? I assume it's some sort of player's guide or art book? http://www.videogameimports.com/get_game.php?product=3059&side=1 Cheers..

I've seen a DC remote pad. It loked like a white MD/Saturn pad with an IR bit. But the VMU plugs into the receiver on the console. So, that's pretty crappy then. And that's the only one I've ever seen, I was trying to find one a while ago, and it seems this is the only one that exists.

Saturn RGB Scart help

Hello all.. Some help please, if i may. Due to an unfortunate incident involving my NTSC-J Saturn's RGBScart lead and my Rabbit's teeth, i no longer have RGB output from my Saturn. I'm using my old PAL Saturn's RGB scart lead, but the TV doesn't switch to RGB mode. It stays in normal AV mode. ...

In the UK, www.videogameimports.com or Raven Games in London will do it. VGI wil charge about 30+ (they did my RX for 30 when i got it from them). Raven games want about 60 i think. Go for VGI, i recommend them.

Yes, indeed all the different variations of the PC Engine are quite confusing! You want a Duo unit really, as they'll play all HuCards and SuperCds. If you want to play any of the Arcade CD games, you'll still need an Arcade Card Duo version. There are three versions of the Duo - original black Duo,...
