What about Strategy? I like the Langrisser and Nectaris styled games very much. The only but one, but propably the best in this category, from the west is Blizzard for its great Starcraft/Warcraft games. And RPGs, the best come from East ;-) BTW, Tetris was originally developed in Russia by Alex Paj...

Recently I bought Over Top for my Neo Geo. It arrived today so I'll give it a try during my lunch break. Right now I havn't planned what to buy this summer as I'm mostly into old, obscure videogames and not keen on any nextgen stuff, mainly because I only own a Gamecube as a nextgen system. But I'll...

As far as I can remember, but my memory isn't that good, the time when Forgotten Worlds came out it was only available togehter with the Avenue Pad 3. I bought it back the days and think that the package together with the pad was the only option to buy it, at least at my local import store. So I thi...

Currently I'm in the middle of moving, so I haven't much time to play. Most of my consoles are packed away or already got transported to my new home, so I stuck with my Mac and play Starcraft. I enjoy to play it vs computer and some friends, both are no match for me ;-)

PC-FX wise I could tell you that there are: - Langrisser FX which features different maps - Farland Story FX I think there's nothing different except some intermission movies than the PC-version - Dragon Knight IV At least have stg/rpg elements. I enjoyed it but it's not the best you can find.

@GaijinPunch: Thanks for answering. There aren't much rare games for the DC. I think they're just not easy to find, like Gigawing 2. You can find a copy on YJ most of the time. Hey, I'm having fun collecting and playing my DC stuff :-) Never saw a Sample-HuCard before.

After finishing Dragon Knight IV (thanks for the info on the DK promo section Gaijin Punch) and go on vacation to Spain for the last 2 weeks, I started to play some Dreamcast games again. Right now I'm playing Soldier of Fortune. A decent title I think, at least I'm having some fun. Just one day aft...

Right now I'm into Dragon Knight IV on the FX. I enjoy the strategy element a lot. My Strikers 1945 Plus conversion broke last weekend, so I'm a bit pissed because of spending much bucks for it :x

It started back in 1992, I think. After several more or more domestic consoles like a Neo Geo, MegaDrive, Atari Lynx and Gameboy, I bought a small white PC-Engine. Some weeks later the CD-ROM attachment and then loads of imports, as there are only imports for the PCE :) Several years I was just coll...

...and probably all the other rumoured titles by Hudson like e.g. Hi-Ten Bomberman, Super Star Soldier FX just to name a few. Too bad that NEC decided not to release games which doesn't includes at least 20 minutes of anime sequences and no action ;-)

I also agree, although I like my FX very much! I also love to play the games, even though I don't understand a word japanese and most games aren't playable without this. But if you love to own a system that nearly no one has or is even interested in, then probably a FX would suit your needs. I like ...

Yes I've also play(ed) Chip-Chap Kick. This is a real good game for the FX. I like it also very much. It's a bit like Bubble Bobble as you first shoot and then kick the enemies. Afetr that they transform into some sort of sweet which gives you bonus points. It's a very good game, I can recommend it ...

As I like the PC-FX alot, I play nearly all games I can play, without any knowledge of Japanese, for that system. Ruruli Ra Rura doesn't require much japanese, so I was able to play it without any hassle. The game looks very simple and a bit like homebrew, but it's an official NEC release. The graph...
