Well, that's tricky since I have a no-ban policy. I've never banned a proper user (only Spambots). I do, however, have another policy that EOJ I think borrowed from me when he name youd Resident Fuckwit. gamengai has a member w/ the title "Resident Fuck You". Recap has pissed off most of ...

That's why I couldn't check. It has to be somewhere in Animate's archives, I guess. Talked about arcade porting and whatnot but didn't go into the Dai-Ou-Jou Extra fiasco, from what I recall.

Masaki Sakari was Heavy Smash's designer and also worked on Suiko Enbu. I mentioned it here but I'm not sure if I got it from that particular interview I linked there.

Your arcade monitor, if it's worth enough, should be 31-kHz/VGA compatible, which is exactly the type Cave's 360 ports are designed for. My arcade monitor right now is only 0-khz compatible. It was 31khz compatbile but at least w/ the Death Smiles, the 480p mode is a completely different experience...

Browsing with a little handheld gadget here at work that runs a bit slower on image or JS-intensive sites; is this the Ketsui artset reprint you're referring to? Eh, dummy: That sig of yours goes without an exclamation mark. If you're using one of my brilliant internet lines, do me the favor of quo...

Yip, not all PS games came in the special PS jewel cases. Though strangely, I bought both my Castlevania Chronicle and Chipokke Ralph new too, and mine definitely do have the PS jewelcases. (?) http://i45.tinypic.com/2lkzprd.jpg Poor quality, but I put a third game so you can compare the different ...

And PS1 games need to be in PS1 jewelcases – the ones with the shorter length stubs where the manual goes. Hmm, could you further illustrate for me what you mean here? I just checked my formerly sealed PS1 Chrono Trigger (standard-sized thin single-disc case) and where the manual should be sl...

Nice thing. I'll create tomorrow a new development subforum on Postback just to give a try. I only need your username there. As for Mad Motor, it's not even listed on Mitchell's website: http://www.mitchell.jp/game/game_arcade2.htm You can't rely on MAME as a documentation source beyond the technica...

It never passed the prototype status, so it's likely that those issues aren't emulation-related. And hey, Macaw: I'm redesigning my Site and want to add boxes in the review templates for invited opinions, old-mag style. Forum-like lines like those are what I'm looking for and yours usually deserve t...

Re: Supergrafx problem--any help?

So I finally got my first Supergrafx game--Daimakaimura--and was quite happy with the possibility of using the console for something more than just a fancy-looking PC Engine. Plugged the game in, and it doesn't work. No sound, just a flat white screen. I've tried cleaning the contacts on the HuCard...

"Damn You, Recap" was a close second. Can't go wrong with that if you're after site popularity, no wonder. I like "Megashock!", but it's a bit too Neo Geo-ish, I'm afraid. Anyhow, I don't see too much of an issue with "Sega Fans" as long as you start adding standard ar...

You still don't get it, Chow. Nobody here ('cept for your mate dumb-Charlie, I guess) cares about what you have to ever say. You're just a nameless rat which has the need to mention others' names in order to get some forum attention. Read: I already won the popularity contest. It involved helping un...
