My reasons to get a Wii upon seeing this: 1

Controls be damned, I need this game. (Although I should probably get around to buying and playing Odin Sphere first).

Yeah, Accent Core is being fixed up and released on the Wii.

A couple I haven't seen mentioned that have some charm... Steambot Chronicles : At first it seems a bit clunky, however, after spending some time on it I was willing to call it Irem's best. Sky Gunner : Cool steampunk flight combat game that in terms of style (not gameplay) should appeal to Skies of...

Thanks for that link, I will check it out. I like plenty of old stuff... I think the next one I'll chat about is from way back in 1978, when I was a whopping 3 years old. If you liked Ambiant Otaku, you should get Organic Cloud. I'd say those two are the best, even though most everything Tetsu Inou...

Gamefly listing
I didn't think it would be long before Kenta Cho went commercial, but this isn't the game or the system I would've picked.

Treasure developed, Bandai published. Only review I've seen is Famitsu. I'm considering trying it, does anyone have any thoughts to share?

Hori's peripherals are not what I'd describe as third party, they don't attempt to mimic any official devices. They therefore make quality official-style stuff, but unfortunately nothing that is identical to a console's original peripherals. I'm sure you could find a wider variety of third party stu...

Ah, missed that - copied it straight from Play-Asia (they seem to screw up translations often). I've edited the title into it's original Japanese.

Really appreciating your recommendations GP. ;) Despite myself primarily being a jazz fan, I enjoy all quality stuff and my vinyl crates know no one particular genre. Tetsu Inoue and Lemmon Jelly are both great, I'll have to look further into this Donnacha Costello guy - but yeah thanks for the post...

Giga Wing is a Takumi shooter. Capcom only published it. Ah, sorry - haven't really dedicated much time to it, but yeah, Giga Wing (series) and Capcom developed shooters I find largely boring. They're good starter shooters in a way but I can't find myself appreciating them now, like I do Psikyo and...

I agree, although its probably ok in an arcade environment, private use would be pretty frustrating. There really is no point to it and rank should just be at a set value everytime a player starts a game. The designers were on crack. Regardless, Batrider is my favourite shooter ever. :D Yeah its a ...

I'm always happy to see a new DC title.

However, this looks like a flash game (the backgrounds in particular) and I don't think I'll purchase it (if at all) until it drops in price. Gameplay looks like it may be worthwhile, but really, Exelica will serve my DC shmupping needs for now.

Yeah, so I'm pretty interested as to whether its a port or a remake. It being a preorder bonus does give me the feeling its a straight port and the high price is just because of rarity.

Tower of Druaga

According to Play-Asia there's a Tower of Druaga for Gamecube which in Japan came with preorders of Baten Kaitos. I really missed any information on this - any of you guys know anything about it?
