Going back to this, the latest release of MAME seems to have fixed System24 timing.

Baller thread. I just got copies of NES Shatterhand (apparently released before Solbrain) and Famicom Batman in the past few weeks. Shatterhand was new to me, and definitely Batman-tier, if not quite as good. Been trying to find FC copies of raf World and Metal Storm, haven't been looking the hardes...

I've been wondering this a lot, lately, but it's usually about regional differences in old games. Shatterhand vs Solbrain, Ninja Gaiden III vs Ninja Ryukenden III.

I've been playing Guardians a bunch lately, and I only now realized that there are selectable stages. That's, what, three new stages that I haven't seen? And this game was already awesome! Also, using Girulian and bulldogging the dog trainer at the beginning of stage one might be the best part of ea...

Gain Ground seems like such an awesome game. I've only put a few credits into it, though (under 20), I can't even get out of the first environment/time zone/whatever.

Pity all the System24 games are currently messed up in MAME.

What did you notice? I completely missed that. Between Normal and Hard? Enemy types get swapped around, enemies get added (especially during boss fights), certain enemies seem to throw more often, treasure chests have different contents (ghost fish next to save points, awesome), and I was surprised...

I've been playing Ninja Gaiden Black for the second time, and I'm surprised at the changes between Normal and Hard. Very good job on the difficulty levels.

Good luck. Sounds like one hell of an undertaking, even on Normal.

Godzilla looks a little like Ultraman, but that's the only Banpresto arcade game I'm all that familiar with. Does it play anything like it?

Thanks. Those flyers probably cover enough, honestly; the shots aren't great.

Last Survivor (Sega, 1989)

There are pictures at System 16 that I mirrored, but I can't seem to post them!

It's the only X Board game to not be emulated, and I can't figure out why. It got a home port, so I'd guess that the PCB can't be that rare, right?
