surely that's better than getting your balls cut off No question about it for us surely, but in this world, power has a very strong hold on many of these people (just have a look at that creepy bald guy, Varys the eunuch), and they would literately offer up their sacks to have power. No chance of g...

Watched it last night. Things are starting to make sense... although I still don't know what's so treacherous about "The Wall". Is it just a pain in the ass to guard b/c it's cold and desolate at the top? They said the rapists choose either castration or "the wall". Basically th...

Okay -- I didn't quite make the connection between the old King and the albinos. Not sure why. The show is very dense, to say the least. Some stuff is very briefly told. The albinos presence in the first book is very small, so having them show up in every episode is kinda weird. If the story had ta...

So lemme make sure I got this right. I've only watched 2 episodes. The pretty-boy brother killed the previous king and is banging his own sister, the queen? I assume the old king was the current king's father? The "pretty-boy", Jaime Lannister is the queens twin brother even. ;) He's know...

Started watching -- awesome. So the books aren't full of win? They are cursed with tedious repetition for some characters. I mean, once we know that the Queen's younger brother is very short , no need to bring it up in every chapter featuring him. In the books, every chapter is told from one of the...

So, are you guys watching Game Of Thrones? God, things move fast. From the end of episode 1 to the end of episode 2 a month has passed. But I don't care, I love it. The blood spill, the doggy style sex, what's not to like? Also, very nice acting and lovely scenery. ;)

I think each season of Breaking Bad is better than the last. The first season is more or less just a teaser. I'm working on S3 now. I was so pissed off at Skyler, and a bit drunked up the other night.. that I wanted to sleep on the couch just to show a bit of solidarity. :finger: Pizza on the garag...

Don't get too excited. Remember when you were a kid and you missed an episode of something and were totally fucked b/c there was no way to watch it again? Well... that's what happens to Deadwood at the end of Season 3. Great fucking show though and should be watched, but it redefines blue balls. Di...

Firefly is great, but I prefer both Buffy and Angel. Joss Whedon has done some great stuff, but I guess it's not for everyone. :) BSG is easily the best Sci-Fi show though and also the only show where I don't wanna punch the actress who plays Starbuck in the face. Right now I'm watching Deadwood. It...

Magic Knight posted over at Arcade Otaku today. He and his family is okay, so is most of his collection (as it was kept upstairs). But everything downstairs is gone.

By the way, both Rygar and Marchen Maze are expensive in Japan (Marchen Maze about 60,000 yen - think I'll stick with the X68000 for now) I can imagine. I bought an American PCB from eBay and did a rom swap to get the Argus No Senshi version as that's what I was playing when I was a kid. The hidden...

I've always wondered how these obscure secrets are found. Leaked from the devs?

My fave game secret is the secret 10K bonus in Rygar (Arcade) as you enter the bonus room. It's very unlikely for someone to just stumble across something like this. Or isn't it?

saucykobold wrote:No prob. There's not a lot of Argus info on the web, so that replay came as a very pleasant surprise. The game is pretty unique and challenging; it's a shame it gets almost no attention.

Yeah, it's really manic with super pretty bullets everywhere. Minimal movement seems to be the key.
