Most of my faves have already been listed, but a few more: Bizzaru de gozaru no game de gozaru! : Really cool puzzle game. Kinda like Lemmings, except you only have 1 character to guide through the level. Also instead of building bridges, your monkey does the moonwalk. :) Go! Go! Birdie Chance - Thi...

Ninja Spirit (Saigo no Nindou) by Irem (Arcade/PCE HuCard)

What about Ninja Warriors? Its more of a beat-em-up I supose, but its only a single plain game.

Slightly off-topic, but speaking of Sengoku Denshou 2001, anyone know the value of the JP AES cart? I'd like to pick it up, but here in Osaka its about 60,000yen, which seems quite high.

Here in Osaka Zanac X Zanac is very easy to get. Every store has at least two copies in the case. I don't really care for Treasure so I've never looked for Showtime, but I'll check next time I'm in town. Another game I've always wondered about is Brik'nger/Ironclad on Neo CD. Everyone claims its rar...

I don't like this game. You will get shot at by enemies who are actually in the gap between the two screens. You can only see them if you jump, and force the screen to scroll up a bit. :yuck:

I mostly agree with Ganelon. But let's be more simple, at this point the Wii has sold many more units then the PS3. So the question is, who still wants a Wii and doesn't already have one? In other countries I hear getting a Wii is difficult, but that's not the case for Japan. I live in North Shiga P...

Hmm I must say I'm interested. Need more info though. Is it a new ST game, a remake, or another "adventure-only (Mysterious Paris)" game? Though I suppose it comes down to who's in it. Paris cast = instant buy, Tokyo cast = probably buy, New York cast = hell no . Went to the website, looks...

Just going to buy one w/ the Firmware preupdated. It's only an extra 30000 yen or so from what I've seen... it would cost me that in fees and postage to get someone to do it. And, we're down to the wire. Will probably buy a couple a puzzle game or two for the plane, and maybe buy something off the ...

I finally got to play Death Smiles in Osaka the other day. I like it quite a bit, its not as intense as most Cave shooters (I began on Level 1), but its not really a bad thing. I found it a relaxing game with cool art designs. No one was playing it, but after seeing a gaijin play a few rounds the &q...

I've been playing Matrimelee on the NeoGeo. Its not the best fighter out there, but the crazy characters are quite fun to mess around with. Its really the music that keeps me playing though. Songs with lyrics on a cartridge? HELL YEAH! ;)

I`m sure collectors of the proper games are sitting on the sidelines licking their lips. I could care less about the value of my PC-E and AES games going down in price as I never intended to sell them. I still don't understand the popularity of the VC, if I'm going to emulate games, why would I use...

I recently picked up a Neo Geo AES with Shin Samurai Spirits, KoF '02, and Last Blade 2. I love Last Blade 2, one of the best fighting games I've ever played. Its beautiful to watch and plays great! ;) If I remember correctly the DC port is kinda crappy, with missing animation, slowdown, and I think...

I played through the 3 Dragon Knight games on PC-E a few months ago. They're actually really fun games if you have a sense of humor. Also NEC Avenue did a nice job with the ports, DK III has a more tradtional battle system then the lame ass "automatic" thing in Knights of Xentar, also all ...

Chip Chan Kick

On default settings (Normal difficulty, 3 Lives) and only 1 credit.

Code: Select all

Player                  Girl              Stage       Score
1. SuperDeadite         Chip              4-1         505200

Not that great of a score, but I'd love to have some competition with this game. :D

Have been playing this one almost non-stop since it came out a few days ago. Its a direct sequal to Growlanser V, and the story is already taking some highly unexpected turns. The game itself uses V's engine but it has some nice tweaks, and is the fastest Growlanser game yet. Anyone that played GV m...

Website is open with promo videos:

Judgine by the video it looks like the game no longer pauses when spells are cast. Looks like this one is really pushing for speedier battles, not sure if this is a good idea or not though. :?

I'd kill for a compilation soundtrack of Gate of Thunder, Winds of Thunder, and Sapphire. ;) Uhm, why don't you just stick the respective games into your CD player? Probably because I don't like taking my $300 game outside of the house. :P And yes I could rip them, but I don't like ugly CD-Rs. an o...

For the current gen I give high recommendations for two Japan only Xbox360 games: THE iDOLM@STER Edit: Actually Senko No Ronde Rev X is no longer a Japanese only game. Ubitsoft has licensed it. Judging by the cover I fear for the localization though: http://static.gamecrazy.com/images/games/boxart/1...
