I have a original Metal Black where the motherboard is about 5-6 cm longer than the game board. Would this be the big mobo? The long one is about 2x the length of the Metal ...

You could just buy the converter and be done with it.

Re: Any other solder jockeys here?

http://members.optushome.com.au/eviltim/gamescart/gamescart.htm This is the correct way of building a RGB-Scart cable. You may eventually do without the resistors and capacitors, but only this way your cable will work 100%. You can adapt this guide for Sega Mega Drive / Master System and Neo Geo. I...

Re: Any other solder jockeys here?

GND to Pin 21 should be enough the same for +5V, but you can add jumper wires to the other pin on the scart side.

The resistor in addition is needed because the signal is otherwise too strong an distort the picture. You also need a resistance of 75 on the video signal cables.

I've had this problem with splitted jacke...

Thanks for the heads-up.

But don't you guys think it's a bit cheap of them to go for 140g instead of 180g which feels so much smother and isn't a suspected to warp (pun intended)?

Re: Wings of Honneamise (Shinjuku)

It was the official first feature of Gainax - so it has a following alone based on the studio who made it. Besides that it's a great little film.
I'm hoping for a remastered Blu-Ray release preferable with english subtitles.

Re: Taito Classic Posters Fair

The originals should all have got some form of fading over the years by now, so a true collector should always be able to distinguish the two.
Personally I think it's great that they do some reasonably priced fan service which is not too gimmicky like character hugging pillows.
