Got the PSP version. My deduction after a few hours of play: the match is decided on who gets the first chain. Am I missing something here? If not, instant fail.

I've yet to find a PSP game worth playing more than a handful of times other than Lumines (and yes, I've played Every Extend Extra... although I'd say it was fun for a week).

Have you tried any of Falcom's stuff on the PSP?

Nope. Looks pretty bad to me. All of those Ys remakes on the PS2 were apparently ass.

YS I & II was really good. After III, it went seriously downhill.

I enjoyed Puzzle Quest on PSP. But its on PS2 now, so yeah.

I thought about Rockman Rockman (what's the other one?). Dracula X looks pretty lame to me, but maybe it'll be worth it for a plane ride.

Have you played Jeanne D'Arc yet? If not, get it. Also might want to check out that Tengai Makyou collection out on the 31st of the month.

RPGs and strategy games are out, unless they're amazingly charming. I'm still working on Tales of Phantasia I started at Thanksgiving.

I never finished Tales of Phantasia. Game was a bore for me and about halfway through it I just turned it off and never went back. Jeanne D'Arc is very charming. Easy to pick up and play with an entertaining story. I played it and finished it on a trip last christmas vacation.

But if you're looking for action games, do you have Ikuze! Gen-San: Yuuyake Daiku Monogatari? That's supposed to be a good platformer for the system released this past May. I need to pick that up one of these days.

Yuusha No Kuse Ni Namaikida
Patapon
and , annoyingly, Mingol 2 PSP batters Mingol 5 :/
that said, it's not stopped me dropping days into it. Great portable game, very snappy (especially when dumped to mem stick)

Dude, seriously. Dracula X Collection all the way. Don't worry about the goofy 3D remake, you get the original versions of Chi no Rondo and Symphony of the Night, which is more than worth the price of admission.

Also, you've got those great collections like the Gradius, Salamander, and Makaimura ones.

After playing the Playstation Akumajou on an RGB monitor, there's no way I could enjoy it on the PSP... at all.
