What's the verdict on Bionic Command (not the DL version)

I should probably buy a new PS3 game to get full use out of the new flat screen. I've been keeping up with new releases like I keep up with politics in the Arctic Circle.

Another game sitting on my shelf that i still haven't spent time with. Sigh.

Anyways, pretty much everyone whose opinion i respect says it's pretty average.

Have you tried Wipeout HD on the flat screen? Game looks insane.

Not yet, but will. I actually did play it at a friend's place for a while. Need to crank it up. Forgot how to play it though, i'm sure. :(

another game that looks insane and (unlike it's predecessor) plays pretty well (though the AI in the later tickets is horrific) :

Motorstorm Pacific Rift - the first one is terrible, but MS2 is fantastic and looks very nice.

DON'T trust the demo -it's from an old build.

I dunno, I actually liked Bionic Commando a lot. I thought it was fun and that they did a great job of translating the gameplay into 3D without it taking a frustrating turn. 'Course, I also liked Mirror's Edge a lot, and the new Prince of Persia, so YMMV.

i was quite disappointed.... graphics ok, but the controls killed the game for me, altough I haven't spent more than 20 mins. playing it so far....
