Curious Site クリオスサイト

So I've been looking for more obscure ass X68k games to track down. And here's one I just discovered existed. Action Puzzle game from 1999. Released on CD-ROM and MO Disk. Other then these shots, there's nothing else about it anywhere, the dev's site is long gone. Really cool that they released it in multiple packages, man I want the MO version. If anyone has any info or ever finds a copy for sale, let me know.

Edit, so I found that cool dude's youtube channel and sent him a message. I think he's going to send me the game data. :)

Browsing that site I was amazed to discover 'Cloud Kingdom' for the X1 which has amazingly intricate and cool graphics for a freakin 1983 game, and a game for PC's at that.

After a little research I discovered it also came out for the FM-7, and it was developed by a couple of westerners yet seemingly was only released in Japan. What on earth is going on here!? Did these guys really pull a Henk Rogers before Henk Rogers? Pretty interesting.

*Edit*

After searching more about this company 'Unison World' all I was able to find this tidbit from a 1993 forum post that mentions the Cloud Kingdom artist Don Joyce:

According to the Stark Fist ish that has the write-up on this, Matt was using the Dobbshead "as an onscreen test pattern", and nobody ever took it out of the font. (And let us not forget the Blitter OBjects, or BOBs, in the Amiga. But I digress...)

Two other NegativMembers have worked in the computer graphics field. Don Joyce did some graphics for Printmaster, Newsmaster, Art Gallery, and D&D for Unison World, and Ian Allen was a 2nd place winner in the AT&T Computer Graphics Contest of 1986 (not to mention the author of the "best-selling Japanese computer video game Underground City"). And you NegativFans that have Amigas might want to check out my own contribution, SimCasey. Look in your local Aminet archive, under demo/euro
(???). You'll be glad you did!

I have no idea what 'Underground City' is, I'm gonna have to investigate this.

Anyway, it seems this 'Unison World' company was involved in various print products, so why on earth they released a couple of PC games seemingly exclusive to Japan I have no idea.

Theres also a lawsuit that apparently happened between Unison and Broderbund: http://compgroups.net/comp.sys.apple2/m ... wn/1127120

Unison World was started by Masayoshi Son, who later started Softbank.

Not exactly "undumped" but I finally figured out how to get Angel Dive working 100% :)

Oh, and Mawcaw, I finally stumbled upon a doujin platformer worth playing.

Yeah I knew about this one when Joshf discovered the remake. https://gamengai.com/forum/viewtopic.ph ... highlight=

The remake is totally awesome. The original looks cool in screenshots but I found it pretty unbearably dull when I tried it once.

Guys I'm looking for the name of a side scroller, with a medieval theme. I think it was X68000 (but it could also be another japanese pc-like system, FM Towns?), it's a side scroller, but with not too much platforming, it's 2 player from my memory (1 male, 1 female) and one of the bosses is a gigantic hydra beast (multiple head lizard). Anyone got a clue?
