Request for all Tokyoites (All good :) )

Postby SuperDeadite » Sat Mar 30, 2013 10:09 am

So it's recently been brought to my attention, that the Triangle Service Pres actually released his old X68000 doujin shooter "Project Moon" in disk image format on the INH Shooting Love DVD. This game is still not freely available anywhere, and I'm trying to track it down. All you have to do is stick the DVD in a computer and copy the disk images off it.

The DVD has a Tsutaya listing, but not available in my area. If any of you have, can rent, or buy (I'll pay for one if needed), I'd love to get this one out there for everyone.

This DVD:

On Tsutaya (Out of stock sadly)

Any progress on this? I see the DVD's listing has disappeared from the page.

Yes I purchased it. :) But ironically about 12 hours after agreeing to the deal, a lurker and fellow X68K fan contacted me as he was able to get the game's image from some Japanese collector. So while I don't have the DVD yet, I've already gotten the game. Waste of money, but meh it's will make an interesting piece for my X68K collection if nothing else.

The game is quite short, and quality wise it's quite a mixed bag (the first boss can't even hit you if you don't move lol), but the music is great.

Oh if you insert the disk in Floppy Drive 0 it will run in 15khz. Insert it in Drive 1 for 31khz. (15khz greatly recommended for scanline goodness)

That's "Project Moon" lol. Anyway got the DVD in today, and I can confirm that yes, the disk image is in fact on the DVD, and just to be sure, this image and the one I was already sent are identical.
