I guess the only thing I'd do differently is get a feel for how the industry works. The Bay Area: It's like 80-90% network, 10-20% recruiters. The odds are slightly better in my favor in Chicago and the East Coast, but it's still about the network. I'm starting over in many ways.

As they say, and this applies to perhaps any industry, it's not necessarily solely about what you know, but who you know.
