PCB of course. :) All my vids are original hardware. When I got the board emulation was still broken. Then I did the 1cc video. About 3 days later, and the game was finally fixed. LOL

My video uses autofire (mainly because at the time there were no videos at all anywhere) and I just wanted to get a full run up. But in truth auto fire really breaks the game, as you can kill bosses before they even start firing.

It's a much better game if you manually tap.
Stronger then your average deadite

Hey boys and girls! Are there any nice Get Star a.k.a. Guardian videos on Nicovideo? I don't have an account there, so searching is hard.

I wasn't able to find any. If you're looking for a 1cc, MARP would probably be your best bet.

Thanks for looking. The game loops forever, I've done about 16 or so "back in the day". The difficulty's only increased for the first 4 loops or something. I just got tired in the end. Would enjoy seeing someone really master it though.

Edit: I couldn't quote you because I have a low post count and wasn't allowed to post "bad words" whatever that means. :conf:

You can quote, but you can't have certain shit in your post. URL's, jpgs, and shit. Keeps the spam bots pissed off.
Splatterhouse Arcade Hard difficulty 1 life clear
http://www.youtube.com/view_play_list?p=E4FF21816116742E&playnext=1&playnext_from=PL

I was fooling around with my pcb today, and somehow managed to 1lc it on hard. Must of been my lucky day as Stage VI takes more luck then skill in my opinion.
I've just seen this post now, watched the first few seconds and can't believe it - your PCB displays the same graphics fault as mine - a fault I've been trying to fix for over a year. So maybe it's common to all Splatterhouse PCBs.

The fault I'm talking about is when the player jumps over the vomit that the first gaoled zombie "produces" - about 23 seconds into the video. You can see there's a missing horizontal line in Rick's sprite.

Does anyone else have the PCB with the same problem? I'm hoping it's the same deal with Dragon Spirit PCBs as I have two with this exact same problem, in the same place.

Cool shit. I can't get enough of amazingly devoted Gradius replays, I just hope BGR44 releases something GIII related anytime soon. His loop 3 bits were stunning..

No prob. There's not a lot of Argus info on the web, so that replay came as a very pleasant surprise. The game is pretty unique and challenging; it's a shame it gets almost no attention.

Yeah, it's really manic with super pretty bullets everywhere. Minimal movement seems to be the key.

Daisenpuu - No-Miss, 1-Loop Clear

1-Loop Clear

Not the most exciting of games to clear, certainly not one of Toaplan's best, but here it is anyway...

I didn't ask GP for translation help so I'm back to being a caveman in the comment box. :)

I think it's awesome the way it is. They've butchered our language for decades. Sweet revenge, my friend.

You press down to eject. That will be relevant for when I beat it without up or down, which I played around with to see if it's possible and it is.

A really good Black Tiger no-miss replay with all secrets:

http://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL46095182AE5B892E

This is played on the PS2 port and while it says that the difficulty is "hardest", many enemies dies way faster than in the arcade version, especially the ninjas the two last levels.
