PCE Scam on Yahoo JP

Postby SuperDeadite » Wed Apr 16, 2008 11:38 am

If I'm reading this right, this seller claims this is a genuine copy of the
never released Space Fantasy Zone.

http://page6.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/f61765966

Too bad this "genuine" is just a bootleg made by the guy responisble for the bootleg Sapphires.

The Yahoo seller even uses the exact same pictures! Some poor fool is out over 100,000yen for this trash. I really hate bootlegers. :x
Stronger then your average deadite

Well its not the most stupid way to earn money. In fact, I'd less blame the seller than the winner of this auction as he just seems to be a dumb idiot, bidding $1500 on an item he is obviously not informed about.

/EDIT
Talking of "exactly the same pictures":

I mentioned this elsewhere. The auction says, "the one I'm selling is sealed.... the pictures are from another one I have and are opened. I should've flagged the item. Definitely want to check the feedback in a couple of weeks.

I doubt the buyer, ignorant as he is now, will realize he got a fake until much later or unless somebody emails him.

I was wondering if the earlier auction was a pirate or not when it was up, didn't bother bidding of course.

I still wouldn't mind having one.... But $100+ is too much.

Here's another chance.

Just as deceptive. Also a "2nd edition" Sapphire from that seller.

How appropriate.

(I'm sure you Europeans don't get that). :)
