I've also found 3 other people who own Cyber Sterra!

This is possibly the best thing I have read this year, by far. I had to come out of my lurker existence with this news. Freaking Vertexer!

Firstly, congrats! And what is the current status on the dump? Do you need any donations to help with the process? ;)

Btw, I shot you a PM, aswell. Looking forward to eventually playing Cyber Sterra, aswell.

Got my hands on a prototype of the Japanese version (never released) of Speed Racer by namco ;)

This will require some significant donations to release though.

Needs a steering wheel plus pedals which the wife will be working on.

Just dumped Stunt Typhoon Plus on Type-Zero hardware, hopefully the HDD data is still good!

So, big news, I will be getting a Sega Netmerc (aka Tecwar), the Model 1 Virtual Reality title produced by Virtuality for Sega. It was originally thought that this game was never released but it was in very limited numbers (thought to be 70 units).

Stunt Typhoon Plus dump has been confirmed to work on another person's real hardware setup so up to mamedev now.

Some more undumped games that I will be supplying: System 12 drivers - Kart Duel and Techno Drive. Techno Drive has a very weird setup with 3 power supplies, a printer and doesn't use the JAMMA connector!

That puts a new light on our conversation. ;)

Seems like it might be a rail shooter? I won't take delivery for a bit longer.

Yah, I'm getting all of the necessary hardware pieces but not the huge cab, there is no way I could ship it from abroad and no place to put it lol

Is the source going to sell the cab on for spares or is it going to landfill? It would be a shame for it to be destroyed. Maybe we should set up a kickstarter campaign to get the cab shipped to you. Put it in Mikado? :)

Not sure what the seller will do with it but I'm happy he would part it out for me to preserve! I've got no one to store that thing and it's so delicate, not sure about putting it up for play.

I think it is worth at least asking Mikado if they want to accept it... and store it in the case that it isn't worth taking up floor space. Freight on it is probably nothing a kick starter couldn't make short work of.

Mikado.

BEST. GAME CENTRE. EVER. ;)

I'll likely never be in Japan again. Heck I won't ever get to play the game. But to preserve something as rare as that cabinet so other folks can enjoy it? That's worth chucking a few quid at a Kickstarter I think.

I tell you what, get me a Heavy Metal Raiden t-shirt from Mikado as an incentive! :D

They wouldn't accept it since it wouldn't be put up for play. The HMD set isn't working at the moment and I need to figure out how to fix it...
