They'll come back once I get settled. I'm trying to up my game across the board... and am also going to move the site to AWS once I get around to it. As I'm still interviewing, I'm trying to only do things that might show up in an interview, but I'm getting close.

Once I get a home and my stuff out of the container (it' still in the ocean) I can run the old ones, then go from there. :)

PS: Legendary thread now that it's pulled two old timers out of retirement. :)

Nooooo, don't fix the alerts! It means I'll have to start buying stuff again from like a two month Y!J hiatus/exile. But nah seriously, bring back alerts... or not.

I think those ding dongs at the moving company haven't shipped my container b/c the address isn't finalized...I mean... not even going to go into why that's unfathomable.

I might try a different approach at some point. Usually I'd just run the script but it's all on my Linux box (in the container).

R-Gear! I never even heard of that one. And Vertexer... oh my. Seriously excited about that one. Thanks for all the hard work so far, Shou. ;)

Wow, never thought R-Gear would surface! Or that it was so close to being completed. I wonder far they got with designing enemy attacks and placements, or last minute aesthetic touch ups... Considering this never made it to location testing (right?) and only a small portion of the game was shown in that film clip...

And of course, how much of the ideas that overlap with Raystorm. Not least the soundtrack, if that was implemented.

Hey Shou is the DT7 board you have access to the board that TRY has or is this another one?

Is that pic from the recent Tecmo collection footage? I don't think anyone knew about it until that collection came out.

By the way Shou in case you've forgotten about it, maybe it would be interesting to ask around to see if anyone knows much about Hang-Zo http://unmamed.mameworld.info/non_dataeast.html

That's not from the collection.... :D

I want to see the Gamest issue where that Hangzo info comes from. I suspect it might have been a Mitchell proto.

By the way do you know if Ninja Gaiden 2 was ever mentioned in Gamest? I've had the whole 1995 set of Gamest for years now but haven't bothered combing through all of them yet.

It would have been somewhere around the Sept 94 issue of Gamest if it was. I didn't read it back then so not sure.

A few huge Gamest fans created a very detailed list of games covered by the magazine over the years, including ads.

They mention the original Ninja Gaiden here:
http://www.netlaputa.ne.jp/~dummy/games ... _n.html#NI

But there’s no other game listed under that name.

I have the entire 94 set of gamest issues as well which I did sift through, and there wasnt any Ninja Gaiden 2 (I do remember coming across a Irem puzzle game that seems to have never been released but I forget the name)

Theres a slight chance Ninja Gaiden 2 could have been shown in one of the attached bonus books that occasionally came with issues but who knows. One of those appendix books I have from 94 has a super early preview of the Sailor moon belt scroller that looks very different in the screenshots to the final version.

Do you own the booklet that came with vol. 127 (1994.10.15)? That one was about games presented at the AM Show. Most other extra booklets around that time were dealing with strategies for certain fighting games.
